AIM HIGH Program

AIM HIGH targets student potential for successful lifelong learning. The program seeks to align motivation and enthusiasm for learning with the skills to advance learning potential. The AIM HIGH program is a unique and innovative learning program that prepares all students for post-secondary education, skills development and work-readiness.

AIM HIGH offers highly motivated learners the opportunity to extend and enrich their learning experience through curriculum experiences and access to unique extended learning opportunities.

Students in the AIM HIGH program follow a program that includes: 

• WICOR programming delivered by AIM HIGH Trained staff

• Activities based on collaborative problem solving and critical thinking

• AIM HIGH excursions and events

• Opportunities to engage with university tutors

Teachers design the curriculum to:

• Be highly engaging and challenging

• Encourage creative and critical thinking

• Accelerate students in their areas of talent

• Promote independent and collaborative learning

• Instil high expectations of academic and personal success

Applications are open for Year 6 students to apply for Wyong High School's 2025 Year 7 AIM HIGH Program. Please forward completed applications to Wyong High School by email: wyong-h.school@det.nsw.edu.au, mail, online, or alternatively hand into the front office.

To proceed with the application, Wyong High School requires the parent/guardian to also provide with the application the following documents:

  • Year 5 NAPLAN report
  • Last school report received
  • Birth certificate
  • Proof of residential address

The following dates should be noted for interested students and parents:

  • Year 7 2025 Information Evening - Wednesday 20th March, 2024 at 4.30pm in the Wyong High School MPC (Hall)
  • Closing date for student entry application forms:  Friday 10th May, 2024
  • Parents / students will be notified of placement mid Term 3, 2024

After consulting with the Wyong AECG we are pleased to offer position/s to suitable applicants from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background.  We encourage these students to apply.
