Wyong High School is a centre of educational excellence ensuring all students are successful learners, confident and creative individuals and active and informed citizens.
The school has strong community links with parents, caregivers, business and industry that support school initiatives. We are an active member of the Wyong Learning Community, having established a strong partnership with our partner schools. Wyong High School also forms part of the Lakes Trade Training Centre and offers diverse training and vocational opportunities to our students including significant linkage, traineeship, Information Technology and university programs.
The staff are dedicated to providing an authentic voice to Wyong High School students in the areas of school governance, teaching and learning, community involvement, student wellbeing, leadership and learning environments. With a strong shared vision, innovative programs focus to improve student learning outcomes. Implementation of quality programs prepare students for the 21st Century workforce accommodating all learning needs.
We acknowledge the honour and accept the responsibility we all have in educating Aboriginal students. Strong partnerships with students, parents, community, local and regional AECG means we will educate all Australian people about Aboriginal Australia.
Our focus is to ensure that there is a broad offering of curriculum and programs so that the real question can be answered "How is your child smart"?
