How to enrol
Every child has the right to access quality public education in their local community. If you live within our local intake area, you can begin your journey to join our vibrant school community today by following the steps below. If you reside outside our catchment, you are still welcome to apply by submitting an Expression of Interest for consideration. Follow these key steps:
- Check your eligibility: use School Finder to confirm if your address is within our local intake area.
- Read: other enrolment details for our school.
- Apply online: Begin by selecting the appropriate application pathway based on your residential address:
In-area (within catchment): complete the online enrolment application and the request for additional information form.
Out-of-area (outside catchment): complete the expression of interest form and submit all required supporting documentation. Once all documentation has been received, a member of our team will be in contact with you.

2027 STEM Selective class
The STEM Selective Program has been designed to engage students who have an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Our challenging curriculum will develop their skills in critical and creative thinking and build upon their communication skills through Project Based Learning. Students will be completing challenging problem-solving tasks to build their collaboration skills with like-minded classmates.
Our program offers opportunities to connect students with industry mentors, pathways to employment and tertiary education, while developing those future focused skills that are highly sought after in the STEM industry.
Interested students are able to apply online, or you may download a hard copy of the application here. Students will be shortlisted and offered to sit the STEM Selective Entry Exam.

STEM Selective Taster Day
Wyong High School offers an exciting and innovative STEM Selective Taster Day for Year 6 students from our local community who are considering applying for the STEM Selective Program.
Our Taster Day provides students with a hands-on introduction to the program, working alongside experienced STEM teachers and current STEM students to develop skills in problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration.
The 2026 Taster Day has now concluded. We look forward to welcoming a new group of students in 2027.

2027 AIM HIGH class
The AIM HIGH program is an innovative learning initiative designed to unlock students’ potential for lifelong success. It combines motivation with advanced skills development, preparing highly motivated learners for post-secondary education, skill-building, and work readiness.
Through a unique curriculum led by trained staff, AIM HIGH offers collaborative problem-solving, critical thinking activities, exclusive excursions, and university engagement. The program fosters creative, independent, and accelerated learning, setting high expectations for academic and personal achievement.

In NSW public schools, all financial contributions are voluntary. Every student has full access to the curriculum, regardless of whether contributions are made.
